As a Corporate Development Analyst for a healthcare company delivering outsourced services to hospitals, your primary mandate is to spearhead the identification, pursuit, and follow-up of potential acquisition targets across several verticals within the healthcare industry. This role demands a professional with high energy, relationship focused, strong work ethic, demonstrated networking skills, with a proven track record in deal sourcing.

Responsibilities

  • Target Identification
    1. Utilize a combination of industry databases, market intelligence, and networking to identify attractive verticals within the healthcare industry and specific companies to target for acquisition within each of the verticals.
  • Pursuit and Engagement
    1. Initiate contact and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders of potential acquisition targets, including founders, executives, and investors.
    2. Develop and execute outreach strategies tailored to each target company.
  • Due Diligence and Assessment
    1. Collect due diligence materials and follow up on additional information requests and needs.
    2. Assess due diligence materials and the strategic, financial, and operational aspects of potential acquisition targets.
  • Deal Processing
    1. Participate in deals through completion, coordinating various stakeholders and parties, monitoring milestones and progress, collecting and disseminating information, documents and schedules, as required. 
  • Follow-Up and Relationship Management
    1. Maintain ongoing communication and rapport with potential acquisition targets throughout the deal lifecycle.
    2. Address concerns, provide clarification, and facilitate transparency to foster trust and goodwill.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Proven experience in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity.  Sales experience also valued.
  • Financial analysis acumen.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
