Location: Rocky Mountain Region
Our client is a successful commercial real estate investment firm specializing in both private credit and private equity investments. The firm has completed more than 500 transactions with an aggregative value of approximately $2 billion. They have an exceptional track record of performance, with an IRR on realized investments over the past decade of ~20%.
In addition to its real estate investment strategy, the firm and/or affiliates own and operate various businesses that add significant long-term value to its projects. The firm has grown rapidly over the past few years, growing from about 25 employees to well over 200, and a similar growth trajectory is expected going forward.
Job Description:
This position plays a crucial role in analyzing potential acquisitions, monitoring portfolio assets, conducting market research, and providing actionable insights to support our investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial modeling, investment analysis, a keen eye for detail, and strong analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investment Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of acquisition targets, including performance evaluation, risk assessment, and benchmarking. Develop financial models to forecast performance and identify trends.
- Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets related to market trends, investment performance, and financial metrics. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis.
- Market Research: Monitor financial markets, economic conditions, and industry developments. Provide regular updates and strategic insights on market trends and investment opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other team members to support investment decision-making and strategy development. Take a lead role in managing and mentoring the analyst pool.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to existing analytical processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus, such as Finance, Economics, or Mathematics; 3.5+ GPA required.
