Our client is seeking an analyst or associate to join their team in the Pacific Northwest. They are a Bellevue based direct private lender that provides short term bridge loans secured by investment real estate. Our acquisition, construction and cash out loans to homebuilders, developers and investors of real estate are often funded upon short notice of less than 48 hours. We currently lend in Greater Seattle but plan to expand to other Pacific Northwest metro areas.
The successful candidate will work directly with and learn from Portfolio Manager and Managing Member with over 20 years of financial services experience that includes investment banking, venture capital, funds of hedge funds, long / short equity hedge funds, growth equity investing and real estate. The successful candidate will quickly learn all aspects of running and managing a secured lending fund. Long term opportunities for the successful candidate include equity ownership and profit sharing.

Preliminary Responsibilities
- Underwrite, structure and close new hard money bridge loans ranging from $100,000 to $4 million secured by investment real estate ranging from single family homes to attached housing to multifamily rental units to commercial property
- Identify, understand and mitigate risks associated with special situations
- Service existing loans: Analyze, inspect and approve of construction draw requests; record and deposit monthly interest payments; calculate and manage payoffs
- Inspect residential construction in various phases
- Build, refine and maintain portfolio reporting database that entails numerous graphs and tables
- Speak and meet with prospective and existing borrowers
- Author portfolio reports, new loan recommendations, construction draw reports and parts of private placement memorandum
