Our investment advisory client is searching for a pre or post-MBA Investment Banking Associate to join its team. The boutique firm specializes in radio & TV broadcasting, the wireless spectrum, towers and shared infrastructure, data centers & hosting, and renewable energy.  Founded in 1987, the firm's headquarters are located in San Francisco with satellite offices in Boston, Boulder, Kansas City, and NYC. The firm’s professional staff offers financial advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, restructuring, and valuation / appraisals.  Over the last 25 plus years, the firm has completed more than $17 billion in transactions.

Location:  Bay Area, CA

Start Date: Immediate


  • Assist in preparing and delivering presentations and pitches across all the firm's sectors
  • Conduct research within all of the firm's covered sectors, as needed
  • Track and maintain recent transaction and public trading comparables
  • Prepare qualitative and quantitative analyses for active transactions and internal projects
  • Assist in the preparation of memorandums across all of the firm's sectors
  • Maintain outside due diligence datarooms on active transactions
  • Responsible for maintaining and organizing internal data on active transactions
  • Prepare internal reports for special projects, as needed
  • Participation in various marketing activities


  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic record
  • 2 to 4 years of finance and/or accounting related work experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical ability
  • Superior work ethic and a drive for perfection
  • Ability to perform under deadline pressure
  • Team player, self-motivated and entrepreneurial
  • Strong quantitative and technical skills (e.g. Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Strong data management and skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
