Our client is seeking a Business Development Associate to add value to the Firm’s portfolio companies and venture fund relationships.
The role of the position is to work with these entities to help deliver customers and partners, assist in recruiting, aid in fundraising & M&A processes. This role will also entail developing and maintaining high-level corporate relationships at large technology companies. Lastly, this role will help with the Firm’s community platform and events centered on these value-add activities to include events focused on customer introductions for portfolio companies.
Backgrounds of interest & skills of interest:
- Corporate Development at Technology Company
- PE or VC experience focused on Tech
- Consulting background focused on tech companies
- Investment Banking with Tech focus
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Very well organized, process driven, good at coordination
This successful candidate should be capable of thinking strategically, originating opportunities to maximize value, and managing diverse operations concurrently.
The successful candidate must be highly skilled at relationship management, who can cultivate and maintain networks with executive-level individuals.
Our client is seeking a candidate with 6 years of work experience, with some experience in the technology sector. Our client is also open to candidates with a banking background in the technology sector with strong relationships and excellent communication skills.
