Summary: Corporate Development leads our client’s global mergers and acquisitions activities, which are an integral component of the company’s growth strategy. Our client has completed over 30 M&A transactions and has the resources and intention to continue to pursue merger and acquisition transactions as a means to fulfill their strategic objectives. Our client is constantly evaluating new opportunities covering the broad spectrum of communications and related services. Corporate Development is responsible for these efforts, including the identification, evaluation, structuring, negotiation and closing of transactions.

Essential Duties: The Senior Manager will play a critical role on deal teams working on a variety of projects across all stages of the transaction process. They will work closely with team members within Corporate Development across various disciplines to create strategic and financial analysis to evaluate potential transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate strategic and financial impact of various forms of transactions including acquisitions, divestitures and strategic investments
  • Develop executive level presentations and present parts of recommendations and analysis to senior executives, diligence team members and external parties
  • Manage cross-functional due diligence teams
  • Coordinate with Level 3 team members and external financial and legal advisors to support the negotiation of offer letters, confidentiality agreements, definitive agreements and closing of transactions

Education and Experience: 4 years - Bachelor's Degree.  Experience with a top tier investment banking firm, private equity or corporate development experience.  Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities and ability to prioritize with good time management skills.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities: The Senior Manager will face significant challenges and develop invaluable skills and experience. The role will need to work hard and take the initiative to understand our client’s business and processes and further develop analytical skills and business judgment. The Senior Manager will be expected to quickly and effectively analyze issues and communicate solutions in a dynamic and high-pressure environment. Through this work, the Senior Manager will learn how to manage the mergers and acquisitions process within a company and build a working knowledge of an exciting industry. You need to have shown: Demonstrated valuation and financial modeling abilities; Expert in Excel and PowerPoint; Strong communication skills; Technology and telecommunications experience (preferred).
