Position Summary

Our client is seeking a bright, dependable candidate with a professional demeanor to join their team as an  Operations Accountant in Cleveland.  The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting support to the client’s Accounting team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, with 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.  Preference will be given to candidates with recent fund accounting experience.  Solid organizational skills, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are critical for this position.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory, as are excellent written and oral communication skills.  Experience with QuickBooks is preferred; experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software and fund accounting software, such as Investran or eFront is a preferred plus, though not required.

Position Responsibilities

Operations support responsibilities will include activities such as daily invoice processing, check printing, cash management, preparation and tracking of fee and interest invoices, maintaining a database of wire transfer instructions, maintaining the firm’s corporate and portfolio company records, and supporting the CFO and Controller with additional fund / banking activities as needed.
