Job Opportunity: Associate

Location: New York

Our client is the global source of strategic portfolio finance for investors in private equity, having raised a very substantial in cumulative capital and investing billions of dollars across 100+ investments. They invest via preferred equity and NAV loans to top-tier private equity funds, management companies and limited partners across North America and Europe.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

Work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing organization and market responsible for originating, underwriting, executing, and monitoring investments across both preferred equity and NAV loan transactions.

Key Associate responsibilities will include:

• Build complex financial models used to evaluate investment opportunities,
• Prepare and present investment memoranda to senior team members,
• Support origination efforts and deal structuring / negotiation, and
• Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to the due diligence process

General Qualifications and Requirements:

• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, asset management, consulting / advisory, and/or equivalent experience
• Robust analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative working relationships across the organization
• Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eagerness to take on responsibility
• Can demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism
