Location: New York City
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the end-to-end process for deal making including sourcing, industry research, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation and closing
- Manage external relationship with investment bankers, lawyers and accountants
- Present to team leaders and executives and address feedback to their satisfaction
- Generate outstanding results in terms of deal making
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate development or a related field
- Direct involvement in major investment deals; Experience in financial services sector preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and business judgment
- Willingness to travel as needed
