Our client is a seeking a Director to join their team in New York City. Our client is one of the major subsidiaries of a Global Fortune 500 company with revenues of over USD 25.6 Billion in 2015.  The parent company is an international conglomerate encompassing aviation, tourism, real estate, logistics and financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process for deal making including sourcing, industry research, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation and closing
  • Manage external relationships with investment bankers, lawyers and accountants
  • Play a key role in recruiting and leading junior team members
  • Present to senior executives and address feedback to their satisfaction
  • Generate outstanding results in terms of deal making and team building

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate development or a related field
  • Direct involvement in major investment deals with proven record of success; Experience in financial services sector preferred
  • Ability to manage teams and multiple projects at the same time
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion and business judgment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
