Our client is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their team in Dallas, TX. The Senior Analyst will be a member of the team primarily focused on the management and monetization of one or more assets and/or operating companies.  The Senior Analyst will support the Director of the Capital Team with capital analysis and management. Location:  Dallas, TX

Reports to:  Director

Department:  Opportunity Fund – Asset Management

Essential Functions:

  • Drive timely communication and reporting between the operating company team and Fund leadership
  • Structure/build detailed financial models to support reporting requirements
  • Analyze impact of various operational scenarios on portfolio company capital structures
  • Own fund and investor reporting process, including monthly scorecards
  • Manage investment capital requirements and process all funding requests
  • Drive the quarterly portfolio company valuation process
  • Evaluate current banking relationships and ensure return on fees awarded and credit outstanding
  • Monitor portfolio company debt levels and recommend investments when sensible
  • Ensure visibility into debt covenant compliance
  • Provide support to asset management initiatives of existing investments including but not limited to financial analysis, developing business plans and other ad hoc strategic projects
  • Author presentation materials and supporting documentation
  • Understand key industry trends and investment implications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills
  • Knowledge of financial statements, valuations and cash flows
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with all levels of management
  • Ability to work with detailed financial or other data and to understand and vocalize concerns and macro implications
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team; team player with a positive attitude
  • High attention to detail and accountability in analytical assessments, but with the aptitude to maintain a big picture perspective

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field required


  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or other finance-related field required

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Expert Excel skills required

Compensation / Benefit Package:

Salary:  commensurate with experience

Bonus:  discretionary annual bonus

Vacation/Sick:  19 days per year on PTO plan
